A dense full bodied Cabernet Sauvignon showing notes of subtle blackcurrant, black plum, cedar wood and spice. The palate offers characteristics of pencil shavings, tea leaf and molasses, balanced with a good acidity and integrated ripe tannins. A lingering finish to complete a wine that will benefit from up to 20 years bottle maturation potential. 24 month in 50% new and 50% 2nd fill Nevers oak.

A complex and serious wine showing layered aromas of cedar wood, blackcurrants, blue berries, tea leaves and graphite on the nose. Subtle oak spice and savoury notes add further complexity. The palate is rich and full bodied, with pin-point balance between fruit and oak. The elegant and refined tannin structure is supported by intense flavours of cassis, cured meat and tomato stew. A lingering finish completes a true Cape classic wine! The grapes matured for 17 months in fine grained French Nevers oak barrels, 60% new. The wine will benefit from further bottle maturation until after 2020.

Bright ruby-red hues. A textbook Stellenbosch Pinotage with aromatic and spicy aromas of mulberry, raspberry and cinnamon. Muscular, well integrated tannins add great structure. Flavours of bramble, violets, plums and black berries are balanced by scented new oak. An elegant wine with savoury notes on the lengthy finish, and a lifting underlying freshness.From 30 to 65 year old bush vines. Matured for 16 months in 225L French Nevers oak barrels – 80% new and 20% 2nd fill barrels.
