This vibrant, classically styled Sauvignon Blanc presents a brilliant lemon-lime colour. The nose is complex with an array of tropical fruit, ripe figs and gooseberries. These crisp flavours repeat in the mouth, along with a mineral character followed by a long fruity finish. The distinctive aromas support a wonderfully balanced palate, presenting purity of ripe fruit, coupled with a lingering harmonious finish.

SAUVIGNON BLANC SIR LAMBERT *201810.30
Sir Lambert Sauvignon Blanc is made from grapes grown right next to the sea up on the West Coast, probably the coldest vineyard in South-Africa. Green asparagus, redcurrant and exotic fruit notes prevail in this straw yellow wine with a nice acidity on the finish.

The MM Louw Sauvignon Blanc is made from carefully selected grapes and fermented in French oak barrels to ensure a wine with a full, rich mouthfeel and a long finish. The flavours fynbos, asparagus and tropical fruit are underpinned by a core of minerality and complex fruit and vanilla flavours. 3 weeks alcoholic fermentation in 2nd fill 500l French Oak barrels. The wine was bottled unfiltered and sediment may occur after time.

It is a bold, leesy, spicy, concentrated wine that shows a touch of oak, flavours of quince and tropical fruit, some grape tannins and a smoky flourish. Intriguing stuff. Fermented in older 500l French oak barrels. The wine was bottled unfiltered and sediment may occur over time.

After 22 months of aging, a barrel selection of Cabernet Sauvignon was made by the 6th generation winemaker. Typical blackberries, cedar and cigar box flavours with hints of spiciness. Blackcurrant follows through onto the palate with firm ripe tannins and a delicate finish. 22 months oak maturation in first & second fill 225l French oak barrels.

Full bodied with dark berry and plum flavours and well balanced with complex aromas from French Oak barrels. A wine with a long lingering finish. Grapes for this wine comes from 50% 43 year old bush vines and the other 50% from 23 year old trellised vines. 16 months wood maturation in 60% new 225l French oak barrels.

This classically styled Bordeaux blend was made through a careful selection process to find those barrels that would complement one another best and give the utmost expression of the Diemersdal vineyards and winery. The nose shows lead-pencil shavings, fresh red berries and blackcurrants. On the palate all components are in balance with a lengthy elegant finish. 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot, 2% Malbec.
